Dr. Stephen Holland, a frequent reader and occasional contributor to the list is moving his practice to Mt. Sinai hospital in Chicago. Besides providing care there to patients with Celiac disease and other GI disorders ( There are other GI disorders?!?! ), he also plans on starting up a Celiac support group there.

One thing that is not changing is his website, www.napervillegi.com. That site has hosted some resources for celiac disease that have proven useful to patients and clinicians. This includes the Gluten-free food list and the protocols for celiac disease followup. When the office closed the computer on Dr. Holland's desk had to go, too. Yes, the website was hosted on a Mac mini with OS X Server that was sitting on his desk. It could have been any Mac, since Macs run Apache web server out of the box, and the Apache configuration file is user editable. But I digress with the plug for apple stuff. The site has been moved to a commercial hosting system, the ip address has been updated, and www.napervillegi.com lives again!

The plan is to keep the site up indefinitely, but with the new semi-academic life at Mt. Sinai, to start adding to the celiac content.

( I hope the third person style of the post is appropriate here for this sort of post. I'll take suggestions on content and topics. Thanks for all of your support. )
