I suppose this isn't a true "summary"; several list members supplied me with the name of the mystery restaurant. It is The Grille on Main, 50 Main street, East Greenwich RI. Apparently the owning entity is the Marra Restaurant Group. I mention that to make the website easier to find, since it is marrarestaurantgroup.com, with a backslash and the name of the restaurant somewhere in there. 

Four of us ate today, enormous portions of amazing food, with tea/ soda/ milk all around and astonishing decadent desserts, for $84.00. Not a bad price. 

Enjoy! It's worth going out of your way.
