Support celiac disease research in the name of a family member or friend!

ONE DOCTOR’S STORY: The donation page contains the story of an emergency medicine physician who almost died from undiagnosed celiac disease while she was in medical training and surrounded by doctors. Then eight family members were diagnosed. Now an exciting bicoastal collaboration is studying how undiagnosed celiac disease during pregnancy can impact generations.

THE RESEARCH: Alessio Fasano, MD, and his team at the Center for Celiac Research at MassGeneral Hospital for Children are studying how undiagnosed celiac disease during pregnancy impacts a family for generations. He is collaborating with the Child Health and Development Studies, an ongoing 50-year study based in the San Francisco Bay Area that is sharing its study population of 15,000 families for this celiac research.

DONATE: Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of the funds will go to the Child Health and Development Studies for the purpose of this collaboration with Dr. Alessio Fasano.

SHARE: I am a volunteer helping to get the word out to the national community. Please consider sharing the link with your family, friends and professional networks!

Best regards,
Jennifer
