Q1:
I'm meeting two friends in Charleston SC for a reunion/40th birthday bash.
Can anyone recommend restaurants I might contact that would accomodate the
celiac diet. Also, aren't grits commonly available at breakfast and ususally
gluten-free?

Q2:

What is everyone's favorite pancake mix? I don't like yeasty ones; I prefer
the cake-like"just add water" type texture, though I realize most celiac mixes
require more additions. Though I've been a celiac for several years, I never
ate many pancakes, but my two-year-old loves them so we'd like to have Mommy
join the family sometimes for pancake breakfasts. I used to by Vans in the
frozen section of my local health food stores, but I wonder if they stopped
making them (or if all the local health food stores just stopped stocking
them?)

THANKS IN ADVANCE; reply to me and I can summarize the pancake issue if it has
not been done recently
