Hi,
I am tired of going through all the pain and discomfort involved with accidental ingestions and the days to weeks it takes to overcome and start feeling better again!
I am starting to believe from my own experiences that if the diet helps, don't worry about all the tests. Just go on it and stay on it.
I am finding it very hard to say, "Okay...let the doctors do whatever!" and then go off the diet and wait for results!
For the very first time I was almost symptom free and could really, really feel the difference. Even while not feeling good from something else...I still felt so much better that I could honestly tell the difference from the gluten effects and normal stuff we all just pass around!
There is such a difference in the pain and discomfort and the fatigue, etc., that I am really not looking forward to eating all that gluten again just to satisfy family, doctors, and insurance!
It is all very discouraging, but I thank all of you who have given your advice on this matter. Though I want and need varification (due to those around me), I just don't believe I can go through all of that again.
