I just wanted to share my discovery about the red dots mentioned a few weeks
ago. If we're talking about the same thing, these red dots look like small
moles only bright red instead of brown. I had them at one time also but
when I eliminated caffeine from my diet they went away (after many weeks).
I only made the connection because I would on rare occasion drink a cup of
coffee when my in-laws came to visit. I began to notice that the next day I
would have a few of these red dots again which would take weeks to
disappear. I was telling my sister about this and it was her who said maybe
its the caffeine in the coffee. So in doing a bit of experimenting, sure
enough the same thing happened after drinking a coke or eating a piece of
chocolate. So I believe it's the caffeine that causes the red dots. I have
no idea if it's the caffeine itself or if the caffeine causes some sort of
deficiency which then cause's the dots or what. I do know that in my case
they are related to the consumption of anything that contains caffeine.
