I have a daughter, age 9 ,biopsy diagnosed celiac. Three years ago her
initial antibody blood work showed Endomysial positive, IgA positive,IgG
negative. After 6 mo. G.F. repeat blood work was all neg. Recently we had
routine follow up blood work done. He IgA was positive. All else negative.
Her Dr. said it probably doesn't mean anything. My question is should I be
concerned? She is in a house with 2 other siblings who are confirmed celiacs.
They eat basically same foods. The only consistent difference is peanut
butter. She eats every morning for brkfst. We switched to Jiff this past year
from Peter Pan. She is having no symptoms but she was only having mild
symptoms when diagnosed though the biopsy showed severe chronic inflamation
and flat villi. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thankyou for your
time.
