Well, since there seemed to be so much interest in the peanut butter
cookies I am going to share my *all-time* favorite recipe. There is no
better bar in the world than this one. I was mourning the fact that
Nestle butterscotch chips were not GF but saw some recipe's in Hagman's
book that used butterscotch chips so they must exist somewhere. If
anyone knows where to get some, please let me know. It's just as easy as
the p.b cookie recipe and a thousand times yummier. I always just called
them "Special K Bars", but you will have to rename them, depending on
what you used to replace the Special K. :)

1c. sugar
1c. karo syrup

Combine these two in a pan and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Don't bring to a boil or bars won't be chewy. Add:

1c. peanut butter

When blended take off heat immediately. Add 6 cups (used to be Special
K, but anything GF that is similar, crispy rice cereals might be good)
and press into a greased cake pan. Top with a semi-sweet/butterscotch
combination, pre-melted and blended.
