I made a very large mistake when I posted this previously. Giulia is from
Italy, not Spain. I do not know if that would make a difference for some
families or not. I sincerely hope a US family will share Guila's Italian
background with their Family. It is such a great experience to have an
Exchange Student. Correction follows.

PAX is looking for a Host Family for an Exchange Student from Italy with
Gluten Intolerance.

Hosting this exchange student is a "golden opportunity" to learn about
Spain, the countries customs, traditions, and lifestyles and will be very
easy on your budget.

The Program for Academic Exchange (PAX) is looking for a host family for
Giulia, a girl from Italy who has gluten intolerance. Giulia is a wonderful
student who enjoys kickboxing, skateboarding, cycling and loves animals. To
learn more about this student, you can view her profile below.

PAX Students come with their own spending money, insurance and are
responsible for their own personal needs like toiletries, movie tickets,
restaurants, outings. What we are hoping is a host family will provide them
with a bed to sleep in, a quiet corner to do homework, and participation in
family meals. English must be the primary language spoken in the home. We
have a wonderful local Coordinator responsible for maintaining contact and
support our families and students throughout their time here.

Ultimately, this is an amazing opportunity to build bridges and lifelong
friendships. The benefits of hosting are endless - for some, having a "son"
or "daughter" for the first time, for others; providing an only child with a
"sibling." Many people dream of traveling the world, and this brings the
world to them!

If you are interested in hosting Giulia or learning more, please contact
Lena: 1-800-556-211 ext. 207. Thank you so much for your time and
consideration.
