Dear Friends,

Today my mother's brother called her to say he thought he mignt have celiac disease and needed my help to get diagnosed because he knew I was diagnosed with Celiac. My Uncle is 80 years old and has lost 20 pounds. This is all the information I have right now before I call him. He and his wife live in San Antonio, Texas. I live in California. Can you all give me suggestions of names of good Gastroenterologists that I could tell my Uncle about? I also would like to know if there are any good health food stores in San Antonio like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's that I could direct my Uncle to if he does have Celiac. I am very concerned about my Uncle as his health has been declining and he and his wife have no immediate family that can help them through this process. Let me know if there are any celiac support groups in San Antonio I could tell him about.
ThankYou,
Jane in Southern California
