Hi Everyone,

We live in southwestern Missouri and our local grocery stores carry Best Choice frozen turkeys.  One of our local stores has them on sale for 29 cents per pound this weekend.  

I just talked to Ann at Associated Wholesale Grocers (913-288-1488) and she assures me that they are gluten free.

She tells me that they have been getting a lot of calls for the gluten status of Best Choice items. They are just starting to put together a gluten free list and have a few things on it already.  

Besides the frozen turkeys, the following Best Choice Brand items are gluten free:

fat free refried beans
canned pork and beans
microwave popcorn
regular popcorn kernels

Let's keep those phone calls going to companies -- I think we are getting their attention.
