Celiacs in Vancouver, BC have long waited for this GF bakery to open up and
she finally has opened her doors this weekend!

 

It is called The Sweet Tooth Cakery which is a boutique bakery that
specializes in creating delicious, gluten-free, cakes, cookies and other
sweet delights.  What Jenny, who is a Celiac, is known for are her cakes.
They are professionally decorated and gluten-free which are suitable for
weddings and special occasion cakes.   My last few birthdays have been just
wonderful with her very chocolate cake, which is 3 layers high with
raspberry filling and chocolate icing!  I hear she does spider man too!

There are no worries about cross contamination as she has invested in brand
new equipment which has only come in contact with her gluten-free
ingredients.

I am just so happy to see a person's dream come true in opening up her own
business after several years of preparation and research.  Her baked goods
are awesome as she understands the science of food and how ingredients
interact which then makes her gluten free offerings just spectacular!
