Hello all,

I'm hoping someone might be able to recommend a dermatologist who's familiar with DH whose offices are located on the northwest side of Chicago or the near northwest suburbs just outside of it. I've been gluten-free for over a decade and from the photos I've seen of DH, I'm almost positive that's what my mother has. She's not having the horrible stomach problems like I had for 20 years prior to going gluten-free, but I notice if she consumes regular breads and pastas, she starts itching and sometimes develops a rash. However, it's her leg that really has me concerned. That's where I think the DH is. It's been there as long as I can remember and no cream the doctors have ever given her has cleared it up. I'm concerned that even though she doesn't react as I do, she could be doing damage and wind up developing colon cancer (something her mother had and my father had). She's willing to get tested, so we're just looking for a recommendation so she can see someone who'll do the proper testing and know what s/he is looking at.

Thanks so much in advance!
