Hello Listmates—Thanks for the responses to my inquiry about Iberia
Airlines. Responses were fairly mixed. My experience—It took a while to
get through on the customer service line, but once I spoke with an agent,
they got my request for GF meals into the computer. Since we had a nine
hour flight, I got salads in the airport (just in case), but didn’t need
them. On both transatlantic flights we had a really nice supper/dinner with
a simple entrée, vegetables, individually wrapped GF bread (looked and
tasted like Food For Life) and fruit for dessert followed up later with a
snack. On the return the snack was tomato slices, fresh mozzarella cheese
and basil, with olive oil to drizzle over it and some rusk-like crackers and
fresh fruit. It was really nice to have attention paid to our dietary
needs, and I recommend ordering the GF meals on Iberia.

Regards,

Alison in Anchorage
