For South Florida folks and Pei Wei lovers-

I went to the new Pei Wei in Plantation. I ordered gluten-free Sweet and Sour 
Chicken twice and loved it.  It was battered and boy, that's a treat on a GF 
diet if you can get it!!  I was surprised tonight to order the same dish and find 
the chicken not battered. Made me wonder...

I re-read their gluten-free menu online after bringing it home and saw that 
NON-BATTERED chicken is gluten-free.  

My lesson- review gluten free menus carefully (even if you think you remember)
as they provide some hint and instructions that we need to give the servers in 
restaurants  I might have saved myself some stomaches!!
