Dear friends on Celiac@Listserv,

I have three questions for the group. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1.) I am going to Disney World and staying in the Park. I have been told I can get a refrigerator because of medical needs, but no microwave. I will have to take my own meals pre made, because I have other food intolerance as well. The idea of eating all my meals cold for four days is not very appealing. Does anyone have any experience with Disney Hotels and eating Gluten Free? Any suggestions?

2.) I have to pack my own GF food and take it on the plane. The air service said best bet was to pack my cooler as luggage, but they couldn't guarantee that it would be allowed on board. Does anyone have experience with flying with food since the new regulations?

Does anyone have ideas for coolers that might not need ice to stay cool for at least 6 to 8 hours?

3.) My neurologist and internist (after 5 years of diagnostics) are now feeling at a loss for helping me without the assistance of a specialist. I need a good neurologist who is familiar with gluten intolerance and with impact on neuropathy and sleep. They have to understand gluten and medications too. Even a center who could do seperate evaluations and consult with each other would be great progress for me. I know it's a tall order! Does anyone have a suggestion?

I am willing to travel. I would like a place that is like a Mayo Center. I thought of Dr. Peter Green, but I don't have any idea if his practice extends beyond gastro? I remember a place in Annapolis. Does anyone know the name?

Thanks,
Denise
