Several people have posted queries recently about the problem of getting tested for CD.
This excellent medical website from GESA put together by the leading gastroenterologists and celiac experts in Australia has very useful information for doctors on when to test for CD: http://www.coeliacresearch.com
All the PDF files under Education are worth looking at or downloading: the GP Coeliac Talk is particularly thorough and includes a list of percentage risks of clinical associations which I have not seen elsewhere.
However, if you just want a short 2 page summary of their advice to GPs, then download this:
http://www.coeliacresearch.com/education_gesa_testing.asp
This is an excellent document - one that every doctor would benefit from having and should take seriously since it comes from other clinicians.
