Greetings Listmates,

    Our local cs/dh support group meets tomorrow, Tuesday, August 17, at
7:00 p.m., at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, A-Wing Conference Room
(free parking in the adjacent Staff Parking Garage across from
Children's Hospital Emergency entrance; just tell attendant you are
attending the CSA meeting).

    We are having a "White Elephant" Auction to raise money to help
inform the medical community about celiac sprue/dermatitis
herpeteformis, the diagnosis and treatment. We also plan to distribute
literature about our support group and CSA/USA membership. Each member
is asked to bring one "white elephant" donation: a new or nearly new
item, valued at least $5. Several local and national purveyors have
donated items to be auctioned as well. And, bring a friend to enjoy the
evening!!

    We are certainly anticipating a wonderful, fun-filled evening. (I
would appreciate hearing from any groups who have had similar events.)

    Each member is asked to bring your favorite appetizer/finger food,
with two copies of the recipe. Beverages will be provided.
