I received 32 responses to my posting asking about GF chocolate ice cream after discovering that Blue Bell Chocolate had wheat flour listed on the label. Many people said they had not realized this and many others warned about getting lulled into not checking labels....I am guilty of that one, had more than one warning about Blue Bell and I forgot and then overlooked checking the label since many others I had checked were GF. Anyhow....I have learned my lesson and will be more diligent. 

I will list the brands that were mentioned as being GF - the only two I have checked are Braums and Hagen Daz chocolates and they both delicious and GF. 

Brands mentioned (but be sure to double check!): Hagen Daz, Braums, Dreyers, Breyers, Edys, Giant, Hood, Hy Vee, Wegmans, Friendlys, Kemps, Turkey Hill, Ben & Jerrys, and Perrys. It is obvious we have a lot of chocolate ice cream lovers out there. Some people make their own ice cream!
