Fellow listmembers,
Until I got a note from one of the listowners asking me about local
groups, I didn't even know about the celiac group in Redlands,
California. Since then I have managed to get to my first meeting, and
it was far more than I ever expected. I left the meeting with new
recipes, new friends, new places to shop locally for GF foods, and a
sense of connectedness that I had not realized I missed. Even my
husband was glad he went. He said it gave him more understanding of
my condition, and the frustrations involved. (Guess it's different to
hear a room full of people discuss their frustrations as opposed to
just hearing me complain, it definitely had an impact on him ;)

Thanks,
Lynda
