It's taken a few days, but I kept getting responses, thanks to all the
wonderful tips! As far as eating out with a child, heres the summary:
for bbq & ribs, try Jakes on Moody St. in Waltham. There's a Cheesecake
Factory in Cambridgeside Galleria Mall near the Science Museum. Legal
Seafood has a large gf menu, with more than just seafood. PF Changs is a
good choice. Fire and Ice is a good choice for kids, Oyster House is
very accomdating and is the oldest conintually operating restuarant in the
USA. The Elephant Walk offers French and Cambodian food. As far as
activites, theres the Science Museum, the Aqurarium, the Childrens Museum,
the Freedom Trail, where it was recommended to start at the end where
theres more interesting things for the kids anyway (the USS Constitution,
the Old North Church, etc.), and it's not as crowded that way, and
conclude the day where you can see the duckling statues from the book Make
Way for Ducklings. There's also a Whole Foods on Westland Ave. and a
Trader Joes on Boylston St. Thanks to all who responded!

Karen
