Soy milk powder has been a boon to my life as there are a number of things
that are not quite the same with water  i.e. twice baked potatoes or mashed
potatoes.
I took it to my local coffee shop along with a shaker, and left them there,
so every time I want to order a "Gregorian" [espresso with caramel and
steamed "milk"] they can fix one for me.  Though it's not as foamy,  it's
absolutely delicious!
 I think this will help so many of us cd's who are lactose intolerant as
well.
