his is a reminder that the next meeting of the Austin Celiac Support
Association (Austin, TX) is scheduled for Sunday October 21, 2001 at 6 p.m.
 The meeting will be held at Tarrytown United Methodist Church, 2601
Exposition Blvd., room 208.

This meeting will be a dining out workshop conducted by Bob Levy of Bob &
Ruth's Dining & Travel Club.  This session will give you the tools to

- Read a menu (Gluten free style)
- Be more creative ordering foods out
- Talk Chef talk
- Ask for help (and get it)
- Be less self-conscious
- Be more assertive
- Know your diet
- Explore other cultures' food
- Handle business dinners
- Deal with Kid's menus
- Go to dinner at friends and family homes
- Prepare for those awkward first dates
- And, more

The cost of the workshop is $15 or $10 if you are a member of Bob & Ruth's.
 Reservations should have been made in advance (by October 12th) but there
is room for walk-ins.  If you have not pre-registered, please arrive early
to register and pay before the session starts.
