Does anyone know if there is a connection between celiac and alopecia.?  my
four year old son has just lost most of his hair for the second time. He
hasn t an official diagnosis of celiac,  but  he is much better on a gluten
and wheat free diet.  His hair started falling out when i reintroduced
wheat into his diet for a couple of months to see if he became ill again.
Now i have removed it again,  his hair is starting to grow back.
