Dear Friends,

I recently purchased some Buttermilk Cornbread Mix from "Gifts of Nature."
This is a good basic mix for cornbread. However, I found the first batch to
be a bit dense, so I made the following adjustment and was very pleased with
the results (just like the real thing)!

I added to the mix one teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of citric acid, and
voila! Perfect cornbread just like I used to make with forbidden
ingredients.

Enjoy,

Lynda Swink
(who has absolutely no monetary interest in this company - I just like their
product)
