It would appear that a lot of this info is in the archives and that
lists are available from the various companies. I was concerned that
the Canadian companies may have different suppliers, but the U.S.
replies and Canadian replies are much the same.

MacDonalds - fries ok unless there has been a curly fries promotion as
these have gluten and are fried in the same oil. Hashbrowns ok.
Burgers ok, except for the light burger - no bun,of course! Ice Cream
sundaes, milkshakes (except chocolate), berry blizzard - all ok.
Salads - avoid dressing.

Dairy Queen - vanilla and chocolate softserve okay, dilly bar okay.
Cake can be special ordered with strawberry filling, no crumbs, no
fudge. Sounds good. Burger is ok. FRIES NOT GF.

Wendy's - Baked potato, chilli, fries, side salad, taco salad, burgers
and frosty's all ok. Some questions re: baked potato - are the sour
cream, bacon bits, cheese and margarine GF? No one seemed certain...

A&W - FRIES AND BURGER NOT GF. Rootbeer is ok, though.

Burger King - FRIES NOT GF. Burger ok.

New York Fries - GF.

Eating suggestions include ordering a double patty with the condiments
between them, and dumping the chilli on the side salad. Hmmmm...

Thanks to all for your help. Here is a website with info on gf
resturants:
