When I was diagnosed in March 1993, I immediately went on a gf diet; did not
cheat and wasn't eating out. I was still having terrible bouts of diahrrea and
intestinal pain. I went back to my gastro dr. and he decided it was all
caused from lymphositic colitis. He disagnosed this at same time as celiac
disease, but didn't think it would cause me as much trouble as it did. He
immediately put me on Asacol (I know some of you can't tolerate it) and my
problems went away almost overnight. I couldn't believe how much better I
felt.

Perhaps some of you who are having problems also have a type of colitis or
EBS.
