Hi all!
After two & a half months on probiotics plus enzymes & the rest of the
protocol we've discussed here before, my son Max was showing little
improvement so we proceeded to order the CDSA from Great Smokies. Results
show no growth of beneficial bacteria & a 4+ level of bacillus species
bacteria, in addition to above normal levels of putrefactive SCFAs &
phospholipids, along with meat and vegetable fibers present in the stool. I
am aware bacillus species does not always cause problems, but would be very
interested to hear from anyone who has had a problem with this type of
infection, and what worked to cure the imbalance. We have an appt with the
doctor on Friday - we've both always suspected Max's core problem has been
an imbalance of bacteria in his gut but the doctor was very leary of
prescribing antibiotics when the pediatricians would not agree to it. On the
other hand, I think now that we specifically know what we're dealing with,
I'm hoping she'll be prepared to go out on a limb, especially if some of you
have found it made the difference. At the same time I realize the
antibiotics are quite potent & don't take this lightly. Hope this makes
sense & thanks for your help - as always! Aggi-Rose
