I recently tried a new POW! bar which is made by New Earth. POW! is a
delicious new energy bar based on raisins and hemp seed and other
natural ingredients.

I am very impressed by POW! I find it to be absolutely delicious.

I noticed that POW!, although announced as gluten free in press
releases, is not actually labelled as GF, and I saw
maltodextrin on the ingredient list. I called New Earth and enquired
about the maltodextrin. They had previously received the same query
and could guarantee that their maltodextrin does not come from a
gluten containing source such as barley. In future New Earth will
update their labelling to make this very clear to everyone.

Both POW! and the Organic 9bar are certified Vegan - which means no
dairy products whatsoever are used and no ingredients are derived from
dairy products.
