Site for Celiac Teens.

Thought this would interest some listserv participants. Reyanna was diagnosed
with celiac while in college. She set up this site with the help of her then
boyfriend, now husband. Lots of teen friendly ideas and informaton. Enjoy!

Hey Everybody!

Well, Jeremy and I now live in Rhode Island! Yay! It
was a LONG drive, and it's taken us a while to get
settled, but we're doing well.

The message board on the site is currently down, and
there are LOTS of changes I'd like to make, but on our
trip, we lost EVERYTHING on our computer so now we'll
have to kind of start over. LOL. I'm sure that will be
lots of fun. But right now, the site can just sit
there until we can get to it. LOL. Hopefully soon, and
I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm sure you've all started school by now. Let me know
how those lunches are coming! Anyone work anything out
with your cafeteria? Please let me know how it's going
so far.

Those of you who wrote stories for the Celiac Teen
Book... thank you for sending them in! If you haven't
sent yours in yet, get those in! And if you didn't
write one because you didn't have time, but you'd like

to now, you still can so let me know if you want some
information.

I really want to get everybody involved in the message
board this year so I'll let you know when I have that
up.

Also... there will be a Celiac Teen Center Series
presentation at Celiac Disease's Center at Columbia's
Patien Education Day on October 23. The Celiac Teen
Center series is for ages 13 to 19, and it's in New
York, New York if you can make it. There's also two
for other ages (a Lecture Series and a Family Focus
Series) and one for kids (ages 4 to 12). :) There will
be a question and answer panel on all four
presentations. I'm not sure yet if I'm going, but that
sounds neat. For more info, call 212-342-0251 or email

I hope you are all well. Stay healthy. Stay strong.
