Thanks to everyone for replying to my request for GF teriyaki sauces. Here are the replies:

Many replied that La Choy makes a GF sauce.

Many others replied that there is a GF sauce called Premier Japan Wheat-free Teriyaki Sauce that can be obtained at a local healthfood store or through www.edwardandsons.com.

One post listed a brand called "Whole Pantry" which is lemon-teriyaki sauce sold at Whole Foods.

Here are several recipes I received:

"I use the GF San J Tamari soy sauce and add a little sugar (1 tsp), small amount of olive oil and some chopped fresh garlic to make a very good teriyaki to use on chicken breasts or fresh salmon steaks."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
From "Better Homes and Gardens":

1/4 cup soy sauce (La Choy)
2 TB Dry sherry or OJ
1 TB molasses
1 1/4 tsp grated ginerroot or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp dry mustard
1 clove garlic
(This recipe should be doubled for more than 2 adults. Should marinate at least 6 hours and single recipe is good for 1 lb of boneless beef sirloin, 1 inch thick).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup mirin (sweet rice wine) (soy sauce:mirin = 1:1)
2 TB sugar
If you can't find mirin, you can use sake and add more sugar. You can even use sherry in a pinch.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original recipe off of Chef Mirin (sweetened sake) bottle:

Combine 2 RB GF Tamari with 2 TB Mirinand 1 TB sugar (I like brown sugar) in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.

My Additions: More tamari (up to 1/4 cup or so), up to 1/4 cup tomato Heinz ketchup, powdered McCormick's ginger to taste.

If I stir fry, I make sure to include garlic and a tsp or so of a toasted sesame oil in the stir fry ingredients before adding the sauce.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1/2 cup Tamari sauce
1 TB honey
1 TB sesame oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp black pepper (I use fresh ground = spicier)
2 TB fresh grated ginger (use mortar and pestle)

Mix all ingredients and marinade at least ten minutes but overnight is better.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the Premier Japan Organic Wheat-Free Teriyaki Sauce:

Just stir fry chicken strips in olive oil, add a little teriyaki sauce before removing the chicken from the pan. Keep warm in low oven Stir fry the vegetables and add sauce to the vegetables after they are done. Combine chicken and vegetables and serve over white or brown rice. My kids don't like the veggies, so I keep the chicken separate for them and combine some with the veggies for my husband and I.
