I continue to receive responses-- some from faithful Catholics who have
not allowed this problem to chase them away from the Church.  But a
couple of the response have been rather vitriolic.

In any case, I'll likely not offer any more summary on this topic,
because it is getting off topic.  As I pointed out before, the original
AP article was, IMO, less about celiac than about the Catholic Church.
And the responses that I'm getting are also less about celiac than about
the Catholic Church.  Because this is a forum to discuss celiac, and not
theology, I'll end it here, w/ just restating that info. re. low-gluten
hosts (which will not work for everyone) can be found at www.celiac.com .
