Hi, list:
We are hosting a dinner for primary care physicians to learn more about
celiac disease. It will be held Friday, March 28, 7 p.m. at Hilton Hotel in
San Diego (on Mission Bay). The dinner is free to physicians; they may
bring a guest for $35. Alessio Fasano, M.D., and Michelle Pietzak, M.D.,
will give the presentation -- what a TREAT for the physicians who attend!

I've been asked several times why I'm targeting PRIMARY CARE physicians.
Frankly, I think most celiacs never make it to gastroenterologists --
furthermore, there are some excellent physician awareness campaigns already
in place that target gastroenterologists.

If you know of physicians in the San Diego area who might be interested in
attending, please contact me at [log in to unmask] and I'll e-mail you an
invitation. If you are a physician and would like to attend, please e-mail
or call me at (858) 395-5421 to RSVP -- seating is limited, and we need a
head-count by March 17.

This event is hosted by R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids), and underwritten
by Friends of Celiac Disease Research (thank you, Friends!). Thank you also
(in advance) to Drs. Fasano and Pietzak for what will surely be an inspiring
and informative presentation!
