FYI fellow celiacs, if you live within driving distance of Cherry Hill, NJ
(about 15 minutes east of Philadelphia) and like atmosphere and good
food......

Tonight I had dinner at the Italian Bistro on Rte. 38 and Chapel Ave. The
waiter wasn't the least bit flustered over my request for a meal free from
pasta, flour, or breadcrumbs or sauces. I had grilled tuna with grilled
shrimp, eggplant, zucchini, and portobello mushrooms, with roasted potatoes.
I was assured it was prepared wheat-free. I had salad with the cheese and
Balsamic vinigrette dressing. I skipped the soup. A delicious, generous
meal...$18.95. They also have chicken marsala....my usual in Italian
restaurants, and sea bass and filet mignon.

Yesterday, we went to Lobster Trap on North Cooper River Drive, between
Cuthbert Blvd. and Route 130. Located on the Cooper River, opposite
marina....probably in Pennsauken. Service is somewhat lacking, but if you can
go during nice weather and eat on the terrace, you'll be overlooking the
scenic Cooper River park and possibly the sun setting over Philadelphia. My
mahi mahi, yesterday, was pretty good....The chef overdid it on being plain,
so I had to use more salt and pepper than usual. Salad is o.k. I skipped
dressing. Their vegetables of the day are steamed or sauteed, so you're
pretty safe. If you can stand cigarette smoke, there's live piano music
inside. I prefer to be outdoors for now. (Even their bathrooms are smokey.
I've caught the waitresses in there smoking and I'm tempted to complain.) The
only reason we go back is for the atmosphere and reasonably good food.

Enjoy.
