        Today I visited my GI, who has scheduled a Biopsy for Sept 11th, and
I am to go back on Gluten for 2 weeks.  I questioned "is that enough time for
a valid test" and he said yes.

        My feeling from what I have read, is that this is not true.

        I also made him defensive, by asking "how many Celiacs he has as
patients" and he said 5 or 6 (which for this small town is normal)..  but I
think he thought I was questioning his ability...  and I was<G>

        However, I hope this spurred him to go do some reading, and to brush
up...  I do not have medical resources to cite to him about the length of the
challenge.  Is there such data available..  I can get on Medline at work, but
do not know much about how to find THAT data.
