My son has an appointment with Dr. Hill (or someone else in his office) on
Tuesday morning. He is a nationally known pediatric gastroenterologist who
just happens to be practising 26 miles from my city. He comes here
periodically, but his next visit would have been April 11 and my
pediatrician could sense that we wanted something much sooner! As my son
has been eating wheat, etc., in anticipation of a blood test, we have been
suffering several of the consequences and we all want to get beyond this
soon! The ped. agreed that we need to look further into what is going on
with my son.

Anyway, someone earlier today posted that she has a doctor visit scheduled
for Monday and she was wondering what to expect. Would folks post
publicly, or would that poster please summarize!?

To briefly summarize my earlier questions, tinnitus and auditory
hallucinations are definitely seem to be related to CD. I got many many
answers from many wonderful listmembers and their experience ranges from
"simple"  tinnitus to hearing what sounds like voices, etc. My son was
greatly relieved by learning that others have experienced this,too.

The monster cookie mystery seems to have been solved. I got a lot of great
recipes! but one person wrote with the recipe that is from HER box of
Ener-G potato starch flour, and it is *significantly* different from what
is on our box. The main and most important difference is that her recipe
calls for baking *powder* as well as *soda* and it's the powder that makes
things go UP instead of OUT! Better living through chemistry.....

I can't tell you how much this list means to our family.
