First, let me apologize for to incorrect calculation of number of
affected persons in the US. I got the decimal in the wrong place. It was

estimated using the number 1 in 150 positive X 280 million population.
Should be 1.8 million, rather than 18 million.

The responses were from one extreme to the other:

33% pointed out an error in number of persons with CD.

17% said that nothing in the article was correct or useful.

50% said that it was interesting good, or encouraged further thought on
Public Health Depts performing screening test.

I think what has been done with testing / labeling for persons with
phenylketonuria may serve as a model for how we can go to work something
out for celiac.
