<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

The issue of barley based beers and gluten seems to be an ongoing issue for
us celiacs. The information presented by Anheuser-Busch is incorrect.
Though 30 to 40 percent of their products are made with rice the other 60 to
70 percent is made with barley. Please read the following note about beer
and gluten (http://www.bardsbeer.com/newsletter/glutenandbeer.shtml) and in
it you will find a link to scientific study published in Australia that
shows that gluten is found in beer after all the processing that these
companies claim eliminates the gluten.

It is possible that with the differing degrees of sensitivity to gluten,
certain celiacs can drink Budweiser products without a reaction. Though
that does not mean that you are not damaging your intestines.

Happy New Year!!

Cheers, Kevin
