When my husband and I went on a May Day picnic with friends, he
brought some beer (in green bottles), and I brought my gf cider (in
green bottles). You can all probably see what's coming next! Yes, I
took a swig of his beer by mistake. Bleccch!

Fortunately, I didn't swallow it, but spat it out (it tasted awful! I
don't miss beer anymore now!), and rinsed my mouth several times
before drinking my cider. I don't seem to have had any reaction, so I
guess no gluten snuck through.

I call it my *near-beer* experience.
