In my ongoing research regarding the best age to feed/not feed an infant
gluten foods - see my earlier question which i'm still working on
synopsizing - i read about the Carey Capsule method of obtaining a small
bowel sample.

I also read a study that said the capsule method is a better way of getting
the sample, as far as not damaging the sample.

Do they still use this capsule? Has anyone had a biopsy this way? Do they
use anesthesia? Has anyone heard if it is better or worse than an
endoscopy?

Thanks!
joanna
