my son and i went for a long weekend to mystic, and had a great time.

we stayed at the hampton suites, so we would have a microwave and fridge in the room.

they serve breakfast at the hotel, so i got what i needed for myself, and got him milk and juice, to eat with the gf breakfast foods i packed.
i packed sandwiches to take to aquarium and seaport.

in terms of restaurants, we ate at:

1.) s and p oyster company -- they were very nice, but were out of gf bread. also, we ordered the lobster -- they boiled a new pot of water (not sure this was necessary) and it took an extra long time.

2.) 99 restaurant -- i had never been to one. very accommodating!! and easy on the wallet.

3.) pizza grille -- owner very nice. they get gf crusts from outside vendor, and she oversaw that there was no cross-contamination.

i thought that latitude 49, the restaurant at the seaport museum, would be able to accommodate us. but i didn't feel confident once there. (so we walked out.)
