I have found (at long last) a gluten-free beer for home-brewing. It is put
out by Listermann's brewing company in Cincinnati. It is a Mead Ale and
uses honey in place of Malt. The owner says it has a low alcohol content
(like Light beer), but definitely tastes like beer. The web site is
www.listermann.com and the phone is (513)731-1130. He says he will ship.
Do specify that you need the Mead Ale gluten-free as the grain packet has to
be removed and maltodextrin added. For anyone who hasn't done home
brewing, it's really not hard. Just a matter of following directions and
patience.

Good luck,
Krista
