Hi Listmates,

Re Werthers Original candy g.f. status:

 - One person said they were gluten free and had eaten them for years.

 - One person from Germany said that if they are made in Germany, they are
gluten free.

 - One person who wrote to Storck (who also make Werthers) about the Reisen
chocolate candies said that there was no guarantee that the candy was gluten
free.

 - One person said Wal-Mart's brand was not gluten free.

I ate one this afternoon. No problem so far!!

With thanks to those who responded,
Dianne Vancouver, BC
