Sorry I missed the canker sore issue, but I do have a possible remedy for
folks.  My family has for years used plain old baking soda placed on the
sore two or three times to cure them.  I know that you'd want to use baking
soda that you know is safe for celiacs, and the soda hurts like mad for a
few minutes.  But it really does work, if you can stand the pain.

I used to get canker sores every month, then I went gluten free, and started
taking more B vitamins.  Now I rarely have a canker sore, but still use the
baking soda.
