Dear fellow list members :

I have seen so many threads on this group about depression and am a little
confused to be honest. What do we think is the connection between Coeliacs
disease and depression ?

To give you a little bit of background I started suffering from short term
memory loss 2-3 years ago, eventually I went for some testing and the
consensus was that I was depressed. I was a bit shocked to be honest as I
didn't feel that I was depressed however I had been through a lot of
personal challenges, shall we say, in recent times and decided to go with
the Doctor's and take the anti-depressants they prescribed me.

I had to try 4 or 5 different types and none of them ever seemed to work. I
have now abandoned them because the side effects were causing me more harm
than good but sometimes I feel I need a little help.
