Thanks to those who responding about eating places in Ft. Worth. As it turned out I never made it to Ft. Worth proper but was in Arlington, TX. Here are some of the responses for those who might be going to Ft. Worth.
Cece
Fayetteville, AR

1.Sunshine market is a health food store that carries GF items. You can eat at Mi Cocina on I30 and Hulen which is also in the same place that Central Market is. They have some GF items as well. Pappadeaux's on I30, DelFrisco's downtown, pricey steak place. There is also a Mi Cocina downtown. Silver Fox on University is another good steak place. Angelo's BBQ for ribs is on White Settlement but only accepts cash. Railhead BBQ.

2.Check our website www.northtexasgig.com for eating places and shopping in the North Texas area. If you are staying in downtown Fort Worth, I eat very safely at Kalamatas in the the Worthington Hotel.

3.Just don't eat anything with gravy or breading. Texas BBQ is cooked over mesquite and doesn't use sauces in cooking. Some places add them add them at serving. If you order chicken, ribs or brisket tell them no BBQ sauce or sauce on the side. Fajitas are ok, ask for corn tortillas instead of flour.

4. am in FW, and have had a lot of experience with this. Unfortunately, even
if you explain things, there have been a lot of restaurants where I have
gotten sick. Tried and true for me is still Outback Steakhouse. The
manager that I have talked to told me that they actually have a training for
their employees, and that when an order comes back 'GF', they get all new
tools and utensils and wipe down the grill. That, and they have some yummy
desserts.

There is a place on I-30 and Hulen called Central Market that is a grocery
store that carries a lot of GF stuff. They even have a GF cake made with
Almond Flour called a victorian. It is chocolate, and it is to die for!
