ok, ok, I gotcha semolina is wheat, poison, etc.  thank you for the
overwhelming number of responses.  This was my first thought, but an owner
of a restaurant told me and tried very hard to convince me that it was
finely ground corn flour and that I should not have any reaction to it.
This was after I had a polenta dish at a restaurant, specifically asking to
make sure there was no wheat in it and then later feeling a little bit
bloated.  I guess in certain places I will have to make sure there is no
wheat, rye, barley, oats, & semolina!!!
