I have not seen the following book but since the author cannot advertise
on our List, here is some information of interest.

"Coping With Celiac, the great masquerader" is a collection of 21
stories from celiacs from all over the world. The price is $12.99 plus
shipping and handling ($4.00 (US), $5.00 (Canada), $6.00
(International)). One dollar from the sale of every book goes toward
celiac research.

Hervey's of Dallas is the publisher and it is available now from the
author or on the Internet in a few weeks from Amazon.com. The ISBN # is
0-9665353-0-8 and the Library of congress number is 98-9282.

Aileen Bennet is a fellow celiac living in Mississippi and may be
contacted at WWW: http://home.att.net/~gbennett1533/index.html or

The authors' local CSA/USA chapter advisor is a gastroenterologist who
recently graduated from Harvard School of Medicine. He has a personal
understanding of the disease because his nephew almost died from the
disease before being diagnosed. Dr. McKee's Comment:

"Aileen Bennet's writing on the personal stories of individuals
diagnosed with celiac sprue is a must-read for anyone diagnosed with the
disease. The book features the patient's prospective on the disease.
Each individual's experience is unique and highly informative. This book
clearly illustrates the many faces of celiac sprue. Thankfully, it
offers a refreshing dose of humanity to the medical literature on celiac
sprue."
