In my post about Sweetarts and Smarties, I should have made it
clear that I was speaking only about Smarties made in the U.S.
Smarties made in the United States are tart candies made by Ce De
Candy in New Jersey, and are GF.
Canadian Smarties, on the other hand, are chocolate candies,
similar to M&Ms. They list wheat flour as an ingredient and are NOT,
repeat NOT GF.
My thanks to the listmembers who pointed out the confusion.
                             regards to all,
                                  Mary in NYC
