I read in the January issue of DELICIOUS! magazine which I picked up
at Whole Foods on supplements that may alleviate food allergies. One
that caught my eye is *glutamine* which "helps restore intestinal
membrane integrity in cases of leaky gut syndrome". Any comments
from fellow Celiacs?

Others mentiones is *vitamin A and zinc* "needed to produce secretory
IgA, an antibody that protects the body from food allergens".
*Ginger* and *broad-spectrum proteolytic enzymes* "often help poor
digestion, a common cause of food allergies". "Probiotics such as
*Lactobacillus acidophilus* and *Lactobacillus bifidus* can be used
when food allergies are caused by an underlying intestinal infection
such as candidiasis." *Guercetin*, "a abioflavonoid, acts as an anti-
allergy, anti-inflammatory agent.

Thought you'd be interested....
